A clearer scope. A better starting point.
Permanent lighting and seasonal holiday displays solve different needs. Start by deciding whether you want an installed system for repeated year-round use or a seasonal program that is removed after the holidays.
A permanent system is planned as a lasting part of the roofline or architectural outline. Seasonal holiday lighting is installed for the season and removed afterward. The design, equipment and pricing should be discussed separately; the seasonal program's $800 starting price is not a price promise for a permanent installation.
Tell us which elevations, entries or roofline features you want considered and how visible the equipment should be during the day. Property height, access and the shape of the building affect planning. Photos and an address are helpful starting points, with the actual installation scope confirmed after review.
Controls, available colors, scheduling, power needs and service arrangements depend on the proposed equipment. Ask the team to identify the actual system and its documented capabilities. Warranty, expected life and maintenance terms belong in the confirmed proposal rather than an unsupported promise that every permanent product works the same way.
Discuss access, proposed placement, power and how the system will be used across the year. If your immediate goal is a November holiday display, include that timing in the request so the team can assess whether seasonal or permanent lighting is the appropriate conversation. No installation date is reserved by the initial inquiry.
